Midnight Madness by Priscilla MMSC9

This week I used The "Starburst Stain"in "Hydrangea Blue" on my card. If you enlarge my Mermaid card and look at the embossed swirl back ground paper, I have just lightly stained the raised embossing part of it. Take a close look at how pretty the shimmer of the Hydrangea Blue just sparkles. They have such a huge verity of Stain and Spray colors you can view them HERE!! I make it layered so it will need a think style envelope. My accents are a broken bracelet. I would love to hear what you think and as always I would be happy to answer any question you my have. Thanks so much and I hope you can find time to play the Midnight Madness with us this week. We are having are very first Guest Designer Team Call. Are you our next Designing Diva?

  2. This lovely mermaid would seduce any unsuspecting seafaring sailors right off their ships. Would they meet their doom as old folk lore would have it? Or is this the modern day mermaid that would make a "Splash" to give Daryl Hanna some competition? lol The use of netting on this card is outstanding. The bling and the glitter are perfect for the interpretation of water. Another exquisite creation, a treat for the eyes and imagination!

  16. I can't believe How Sexy your card is! Being a water person, I really appreciate the mermaid! I love the colors and style! So pretty! you said if we had any questions: How long did it take for you to make this card??

  17. Thanks for the question Maureen :) Well, I have slowed down a lot with my card making lately....been working on blog posts ;) But normally I make my cards AFTER the kids are in bed..I really like to take my time with them, so I do them while watching my favorite TV shows :) I love shows like American Idol, So you think you can Dance, Dancing with the Stars..etc.. So, I start making them while watching my shows..let them dry if needed over night and then finish them up in the morning..I guess a few hours for one card, but believe me, I take breaks, snacks, play with the cats, tickle my hubby and check my computer all while creating...so I hope the kind of helped answer your question and I am sure it was way more info than you needed LOL

You've made me really want to use my starburst stains again now, they don't come out nearly as often as they should.
