This card was made for this weeks Crafty Secrets SCS Challenge. This weeks challenge was to use a pocket on our project. I am still building up my Crafty Secrets supplies, so please forgive me for using the same stamp two weeks in a row. I just love this image and wanted to do something different with it this time. I embossed the mannequin two times and cut one out . I then added some tulle, ribbon, pre-made quilled flowers, a pair of ballet shoes, some Ballet tickets tucked in a pocket and some sewing details. I took a few pictures because it was really hard to capture the details of this card in one picture. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. I was trying to capture the feeling of back stage at the Ballet Theater....did I succeed?

"Have a Chairful Day"

This card was inspired by the SCS Sketch Challenge (SC230) today. It was a very unusually sketch and it really made me think..oh no....there we go again!! Dog gone it, someone is making me think!! LOL Anyway, I have a bunch of SU stamps that I have never used so I thought i would get back to some stamping with SU. This stamp is from the "Furnished with Love" set. I am pretty sure it has been retired for awhile. It says 2004 on the box, so you can tell how behind I am with opening up my stamps sets. I have so many that have been used only once, or never even opened....hummmmmmm do you smell BLOG CANDY coming soon? LOL If you play the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge every week..I have some big surprises in store for our players as well as our followers in the future. You may only have to just be a follower to take part in some of the fun, so stay tuned for the details. Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #88

"Old Fashion Innocence"

Oh boy, what a full day we have..I just had to get my Mojo Monday fix in this morning. Will be BBQ ing and playing in the Kiddy pool later. I took a few pictures to try and show the major 3D of this card, I used a butterfly brooch from my fellow Midnight Madness Team member, Jessica. You can find her link on my side bar. It was a fun sketch and made me think. (I hate that when that happens LOL) Used a wire ribbon, tulle, sewing detail, bead work and some square brads. Oh, and I got to play around with my New Copics Airbrush..It will take some getting use to..but I already love it.. ..this card will for sure need a "THICK STYLE ENVELOPE"

Unscripted Sketch Challenge #7

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend. It is late and once again..here I am just loving these Sketch Challenges :)

"DANCE WITH THE BIRDS"

I am Very excited to show you the card I made for the Unscripted Saturday Sketch Challenge.

It really was a challenge....I had to think on this one overnight..I fell asleep thinking about the sketch and then woke up thinking about it. I was a little thrown by the open area on the sketch and the smaller scalloped circle.

I took a couple of close up pictures..It is really hard to capture the shimmer of the papers and the cuttlebug embossing.

The image was printed on glossy paper and cute it out two times. I layered the image with the wings behind at an angle. It is very 3D, but hard to see from the pictures. I added glitter, some tulle with a stud and a few blue birds.

Well this is what I came up with. I love this image. It is from *iTkUiLLi* I just adore her work. Check it out if you get a chance. She sells her collage sheets on Etsy.com

Splitcoaststamper's Sketch Challenge (SC229)

"Things are Stacking UP!"

Today I was inspired by the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge (SC229) I feel like things are stacking up and I am getting behind in my blogging comments......so I thought I would make this card for all my followers......It is all in FUN.. and I promise I will get to my blog hopping soon. I just had to get my card fix in for today :) This stamp is by Whipper Snapper and I think it is just the cutest stamp. I have not used it much, because the first time I used this stamp I got in trouble with eBay. The Whipper Snapper Company does not have the Angel policy so you can not sell their images. Live and learn right ? I used some textured paper, cuddlebuged some paper, embossed the image on water color paper, copic colored it, cut it out and added a flower. So to all my followers, I hope you enjoy my fun side today!! Now, back to the "MIDNIGHT MADNESS"

Crafty Secrets Challenge CSSC69

"You're Sew Special"

Hope your all having a great day. Just wanted to share another card with you. This one was inspired by the Crafty Secrets Challenge. The challenge was to include as many circles, half circles or circle shapes on your card. I was very excited because I got my Crafty Secrets stamp a few days ago and finally got to use it on this card. The stamp is from the Sew Special stamp set. I stamped the image on water color paper 2 times, water color painted the image with metallic gold paint then cut them out for layering. I shaded the circle edges with distressed inks, embossed with cuttlebug, Foot Filed for an aged look, sewing detail, punched my outer circle with a pattern edge, added some vintage buttons, tulle, a usable vintage gold toned circle brooch and this is what I came up with. I still need to finish the inside with the matching stamp "You're Sew Special" and then make a Thick Style Envelope before it will be ready to sell. Please share your thoughts with me :)

The image was from *iTkUiLLi* she has great stuff and I love her work. The Brooch on the card is a feather with pearls...click to enlarge for a closer look.
