Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #47 (MMSC47)

Hello all… Before we get into our weekly details, I wanted to share... It has been almost a year since I started these sketch challenges. I was so lucky to have had such a wonderful and talented group of ladies willing to give it a go with me. In the last year we have had such a blast together and I can call them my true friends. In this crazy world we call blogging, many times we never get to meet our blog friends, but I have had the good fortune to meet face to face with a few of these lovely ladies and am looking forward to meeting even more of them on the Cruise in Sept. I am thrilled to have had this last year to share laughs and tears with them. Two of our lovely ladies will be leaving the group to peruse other avenues. Sue and Jane, it has been my honor to work, create and brainstorm with you these last few months and it sadness me that this is your last challenge as one of our MMDT members. You will always be one of the “Original” Midnight Madness Team members and a huge part in its development. I know you both will not be far. Have fun with your new adventures wherever they take you.

Now that being said, we have been working hard picking out our newest DT members. Thank you to all of you who sent in applications. Next week we will reveal the first two of our New Design Team members. We plan on adding a few more “3 month termers” over the next few weeks and we are very excited about bring some new talent to our challenges. I would like to thank Sue Drees. She was an awesome March Diva and we really enjoyed your contributions to our challenges these last few weeks.

Midnight Madness by Priscilla MMSC47

What a full week I have had..my daughter turned 4 and we had a party for her. She really wanted a pink and purple cake shaped like a heart with sprinkles. So in-between, making her cake (see pic), wrapping presents, and nursing my whole family back to health (we all had the flu, but are feeling much better now), this is the card I have made for my MMSC47 this week (don’t look too close, I was sick and my stitching is a little off).

I made the Rose Corset digi Set just to go with this sketch. I was inspired by the lace up section of the layout. And of course, I had to make a 6x6 lace up envy to go with it right? I know it is a little flirty, but it is fun to mix it up a bit sometimes. I hope you like it and would love to hear what you think. Thank you so much for stopping by today.
