Hello everyone. I'm so sorry for the delay with getting things going for 2012. Due to many things in my life, I have decided to cut back on my computer time. Not only was I having computer problems, which can be very frustrating, I have become much more active with my kids and their school. As many of you can relate, having two little ones in kindergarten and all the added pressure to be a good mom, I have had to make some changes in my life. I not only have lost over 70 pounds in the last few months, but have personally gone back to one of my very first loves which is Figure Skating. I have tried to pass this love on to my children as well. So, now that we are very active at the rink it does not leave much time for anything else. So, all that being said, I love the Midnight Madness Challenges but committing to doing a weekly post is not really an option for me at this time.
Starting Feb 1st the Midnight Madness Sketch challenges will now be a Monthly challenge.
Note: these will no longer be posting on Tuesday, but you will have all month to enter. I hope this will not prevent all of you from continuing to visit and play. I love my crafting and it got me through some stressful times. I will continue my crafting and continue to run CDAC site but with all that is going on, I just need to find a happy medium when it come to my time control. I would like to take this time to thank the many people that have helped run not only this blog but the CDAC site too. I could have never done it without you ladies. Thank you the "Midnight Madness Teams" past and present. Thank you to the "priscillastyles" Design Teams past and present. Thank you to all the great crafters that contribute to the CDAC site. And of course, all the wonderful followers of this blog. I will leave you with a video of my 5 year olds doing their very first routine together at the Winter recital. I hope you enjoy it.

Please keep our normal logo (shown below) on your blog, but feel free to add the MONTHLY one above too.
Thank you for the support!
Please note due to some computer clean up, many things have changed on our site. I had to remove many past sponsors logos, and a bunch of prior posts. We will continue to make a few changes, so not to worry if things looks a little different!

ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you back after the site problems, I think we all need to evaluate our lives now and again and find a happy medium for what works for us at that time in our lives. Just enjoy your skating, your sketches are always fab so I will keep coming over to play :)

ReplyDeleteGood for you! That is so wonderful that you are setting the time aside to enjoy and be active in your childrens lives .The video is absolutely adorable ! They are soooo good and too Stinkin cute! Oh and congrats about the weight loss that's amazing !
ReplyDeleteHi Priscilla! I haven't been by to visit in so long. Sorry! I love the video of your kids. They are so talented at their age. I would have been flat on my butt as soon as my foot hit the ice ;) What a great inspiration you must be to them too not to mention bringing back the fun times that you had the years that you were doing it. Congrats on your weight loss too! It sounds like you have your life the way you want it now. I am so happy for you and for your family. Enjoy every moment, and stay in touch when you get a chance. I have all but quit crafting for now. We have been planning a big move for months, and it is finally drawing close, so my life has really been consumed with it. Surely, I will get back to crafting from time to time, but the days of crafting the way we all used to are gone for me too. There is just too much else in life to do than to focus on only one thing for too much time. My best to you always, and hope to come by here now and then and see your sweet kids more. They are adorable!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Carolyn

I am so happy for you P, life goes on and changes and it seems that only great things ahead for you and your family, a congratulations on your weight loss, no matter how little you are, you are always living large, my friend. Sending you only my best wishes (( hugs )) Jane
