Midnight Madness by Priscilla MMSC35








Hello, today I wanted to share with you a project I made with my friend Jessica’s own stamp image. It is one of my favorite images of hers. She told me it was not a self-portrait, but it sure does look a lot like her. She is one of the artists on line that have really inspired me. I can not wait till I can get use to my new Wacom tablet and I am sure I will be picking her brain on how to use it to do graphic arts, so watch out Jessica! LOL.. The tablet is really cool and I love the pen features and wireless mouse it offers. That is about as far as I have gotten… If you have never heard of a Wacom Tablet you can check it out HERE.
Now to my project for MMSC35, I altered a journal style booklet and added a ribbon tie and ribbon decorative binding edge. I did follow the sketch this week but added my own flair. I embellished it with some vintage rhinestone beaded dangle earrings, but it’s kind of hard to see them in the photos. Remember you can always click my pictures to enlarge them if you would like to see the up close details.
We have some many fun things planned out for the year and we wanted to simplify the format a little. So along with our weekly sketches here are some things to look forward too…..

    Oh my giddy aunt Priscilla - this is just gorgeous! I love this image of Jessica's- you have used it so beautifully! Those earring are a gorgeous touch too! Love all of the texture you have happening - I was wondering - exactly what does a girl write in a journal like this!? LOL!     What a jaw dropper creation this is! WOW! With all those fibers and that awesome image, you've just done a wonderful job on this! Woot!

    This is soooo beautiful Priscilla! I love the fibers and the ribbons!!! I'll be curious to know what you write in this!!! What a beatiful arrangement of image and textures! I just want to reach out and touch it!!!

    This is so BEAUTIFUL Pauline, I mean Priscilla. My gosh, I would have to just stare at this and never "touch" it as it is just so exquisite and lavish. I just don't know how you do it week after week Priscilla, but keep on a doing it. FANTASTIC!! I noticed you haven't been uploading to the SCS gallery lately where I usually comment, so I came to your blog. I can't leave YOU out of the comments on these gorgeous cards!!!

    Priscilla, What a beautiful purple color. I really like how you embossed and airbrushed that matching purple! The ribbon and the gems just got that vintage style, love it! hugs ~Jeni

    Beautiful card, Priscilla! I know you were thinking of Jess when you were creating this, yet you added so much of you to it with the purples and the dramatic details that you added to it. It is just gorgeous!
