Our August Guest Designing Diva!!!

I am so excited to announce our very first Guest Designer. Our August Guest Designer is Melissa Bove. Many of you may know her from Splitcoaststampers. She is currently one of the “Dirty Dozen” girls. We are so honored to have her joining us for the next month. She is extremely talented and her work will bring so much inspiration to the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenges each week. She lives in Whiting, NJ, down near the Jersey Shore, with her hubby, Robert and her 3 ½ yr old son, Antonio who keeps her on her toes. She loves doing all kinds of paper crafts and her main passions are making cards and altering anything she can get her hands on, especially boxes! She loves to incorporate some type of stamping in almost everything she does. She started stamping about 3 years ago and it has quickly become an obsession for her. I am sure we can all relate huh? Melissa will be helping us choose our September Guest Designing Diva, so keep those creative juices flowing and be sure to let us know you are interested in being our SEPT Guest Designer. We will be starting the “Refer your Friends for Freebies” this week and this is how it works….. for every "Brand NEW" participating friend you refer to our challenges, you will get an extra entry in our weekly bonus drawings through the end of August. As an added bonus, if three of your referrals enter our sketch challenge during the same week, I will mail you a special gift from Stampin Up. And the person who refers the most new friends by August 31st will Win a "Stampin Up" Grab bag of products worth over $100. Your friends can only be a “Brand NEW” friend once even though we welcome them to stay and play as often as they want and that person could then join in by referring new friends too. Stand Up Card

This week I added some additional pictures so you could really see all the angles of this card. I have made these “Stand Up” cards before and just love thinking of new things to hang from the swing out arms. I made the design for this card awhile ago and decided to use it again. I have added this template to my “priscillastyles” product page if you are interested in seeing more cards with this design or the templates that I have available. I have so many things in the works and I am trying to get them up and running a little at a time. I would love to know what you think of my design and of this weeks sketch card. I know my card has a major tweak, but how could it not with this style card :) As always, if you have any questions please just ask away. I love reading your questions and comments. MM DESIGN TEAM AWARD

This person is very talented and we are so lucky to have her on our team. She teaches a variety of classes from card making, scrapbooking to altered paper crafts. She is so well rounded that even every now and then the little vixen comes out in her. I thought this Mischief Award was a cute way to honor her as I really love all her styles, but what really caught my eye when first viewing her cards was the flirtation of some of her images. I love that she takes her crafts to all levels with the images she uses. One week it could be an adorable cute image and the next week it may just be her flirty fun side coming out. This week we get to see that flirty side..yeah!!
