Midnight Madness by Priscilla MMSC21

HOT COCOA?

Thanks for stopping in! :) This was made for MMSC21 , come play with us. We have a lot of fun things going on here at the Midnight Madness blog, so let this card inspirer you to grab a cup of cocoa and stay awhile. This card was made with the cuties stamp from Gurlee Girl Design. I am so proud, because once again I was able to finish the inside and make a “Thinking Inside the Box” custom matching envelope. I will keep my post short, but I will leave you with one questions… are you a multi tasker? I have to be!! My husband does not know how I do it. I can be down loading pictures on the computer for my blog post, talking on the phone, doing dishes and breaking up my kids fighting over a toy all at the same time. My husband can only do one thing at a time….anyone else out there live in a home like mine??? LOL Anyway, enjoy your time here at the Midnight Madness blog and be sure to take advantage of all that it has to offer. As always, I would love to hear your thoughts, comments or concerns.

  3. Another beautiful creation. Love those rich, dark tones and the stitching. The envelope is just as wonderful as the card! I agree with your husband, I don't know how you do it all either, but the multi-tasking thing is a woman thing, men just don't get it!

  5. Love the "Coca girl" image and all those shimmers on your card and embossing, flower and and and, another great card by you. Great inside and your Priscillastyles envelope.

    Nope, can't multi-task as well, I'm challenged that way, LOL

  6. Priscilla, you are definitely an advance level multi tasker! I think can only handle 2 things at a time. Lol, If I do dishes, I just let the kids figure out the toy thing, then sit them for timeout. Other times, I wait for Josh to finally step in after he can't stand it anymore.

    Now THIS is a beautiful card. The coloring and the edges are so unique! Where did you get the diecut corner! Fabulous, xox ~Jeni

  7. That's really pretty Priscilla, I love the rich color. And yes, I can relate. I'm sure this happens in your family . . . when your DH is on the phone does he SIT DOWN to talk? I can't remember the last time I sat down to have a phone conversation unless I was typing out an interview on the computer at the same time.

    Love the stitching and the dimension. So pretty!

  8. If I received this card, I would want to sit down with a nice piping hot cup of cocoa with a big dollop of artificially sweetened whipped cream (a girl does have to watch her waist line on certain things) and just stare at all the dreamy details and textures on this scrumptious card!!! I have always been a multi-tasker. When I would get home from school, I would do homework while watching television, while cooking dinner!! lol Now I can cook dinner, fold laundry, and do dishes with phone and text in-between. My house is set up so I can just keep going in circles. lol Great card Priscilla.

  10. I think it's a guy thing....not being able to multitask!!! Their brains work differently than ours. I multitask all the time and sometimes drive myself nuts doing it!!!! LOL
    Your card is just gorgeous Priscilla. I just love your ability to work those darker colors.....now that's one thing I'm not good at! But bold is beautiful and you've made this one really beautiful! Love it!

  11. You sure did make this Gurlee look classy!

    I think as long as we Mom's are doing 20 things at one time, then our husbands are happy. If we EVER sat for a moment and did nothing, they would be wondering what was wrong. Charlotte is right...men's brains are wired differently than ours. Do you ever notice that they can't watch TV and hear you talk at the same time? It's one or the other. If the kids need something or you have to break up a fight, what does he say? "honey, the kids need you" Right? LOL, anyway...we know they couldn't get anywhere without us ;)

    Thanks for the laugh,
    Carolyn

    p.s. You actually amaze me with all you do too. I would love your energy.

  15. Hello Priscilla, this is one DIVINE creation - love that Cocoa Girl, you have made her look stunning...and that cocoa inviting!! Your work is amazing Priscilla, thank you for all that you 'bring to the table' each week to inspire us each week!
    As the kids get older you discover their 'currency' and use that to deal with them - you won't even have to say anything...one look in the direction of their 'beloved' possession and they instantly behave...as for DH...all the best with that!! Oh and try not to drop the phone the dishwater - the voice of experience says that it is not good! LOL! {{{hugs}}}
