"Merry Christmas ?"
This was a fun card to make, but I can’t believe I am making Christmas cards already.. Where has the year gone? I better get started on my Christmas shopping, I only have 3 months..LOL This card was made for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #19 and continuing with their monthly sponsorship is DRS Designs. I have been having a lot of fun with their very generous donation of free stamps for our design team. I am positive I will get a lot of use out of this stamp. It is called Ornaments Galore K655 and can be found HERE. I hope you all are getting started on those Christmas cards! :) I’m really happy because lately I have been able to finish the insides and make a matching “Thinking inside the Box” envelope for my cards. I always start another project and I am really bad about following through with projects to the very end. Aren’t you proud of me?? I will be showcasing a very special card this Saturday during the “Stampers United” blog hop. I hope you stop by to view it..that is if it turns out like I have it pictured in my head..LOL As always I would love to hear from you. Questions and comments are very much welcome ;)

ReplyDeleteI so agree with Kate T. This just reminds me of Christmas Eve by the tree with nothing but the holiday lites on and gifts under the tree. What a warm and happy feeling that you are able to create, Priscilla. You have such an awesome gift that you use so graciously. I just love all of your work. I cannot wait to see your special card on Saturday!!! I think THIS card is special. You are going to blow our minds, I think.

ReplyDeleteMy jaw hit the floor when I spotted this STUNNING card! Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful Christmas card!!! The stitching is AMAZING and I can't figure out any other way you did it other than by hand! The shimmer, the rich color......I swear I can smell the pine scent of those branches! And then there's the matching envelope! You have an incredible gift Priscilla, TFS it here!!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I feel as if I am right here, taking it all in, what a superb card down to every last detail.

I love Christmas, and I love this card. What a stunner. Rich color tones and sparkle are beautiful (gotta have sparkle at Christmas!) And that stitching...when do you find the time...absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love christmas and I really love this envelope you created. Im not back to my 100% skating at all. I actually had a freak fall on a spin(flying camel) it was the first one since my break (7months) and i missed my toe pick and fell on my hip... so I have to take a week off =( but umm.. all the doubles are back to almost full height, and landed 1 dbl axel but I haven't tried any of my triples (toe and sal) not until I have a solid program and the strength *i hope i can land them within a few weeks but its ok my goal is to compete JR level next regionals =) And i will definately join the bloghop on sat.
ReplyDeletePriscilla, this card is absolutely gorgeous, your coloring is awesome, one of my favorites!

As a matter of fact, I am proud of you!! I tend to leave the insides undone, thinking I will wait until I know who it is for, and then when it comes time to send it, the inside is so sad and neglected :( This here is gorgeous, and I hope your follow-through is contagious!! Love the sprinkling of glitter, just terrific!!
