This week I added some additional pictures so you could really see all the angles of this card. I have made these “Stand Up” cards before and just love thinking of new things to hang from the swing out arms. I made the design for this card awhile ago and decided to use it again. I have added this template to my “priscillastyles” product page if you are interested in seeing more cards with this design or the templates that I have available. I have so many things in the works and I am trying to get them up and running a little at a time. I would love to know what you think of my design and of this weeks sketch card. I know my card has a major tweak, but how could it not with this style card :) As always, if you have any questions please just ask away. I love reading your questions and comments. I will do my best to answer asap. Now, come on, think of some friends and come play “Refer a Friend for your Freebies” :)

ReplyDeleteThis card is just amazing Priscilla! I'm still trying to take in all the intricated details. First, I want to know who your paper source is because I really love this paper! :) The flowers are so pretty with all the layering too. Totally a WOW! kind of card. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the question!!! Ok, here goes.. One of the reasons I never put recipes on my cards is because it is so hard from me to. I use so many different brands, items (vintage and new) that it is hard to keep track of what the heck I add to one of my cards. My confession: I am some what of a pack rat and a lot of my stuff I get given to me by friends and family. This paper was giving to my by my sister. She said it was vintage wall paper. If you have not noticed, I am open to using just about anything on my cards. I keep everything too... I have even been known to keep junk mail just for the paper LOL. I hope I was a little help.
Wow, I am speechless after looking at your card. It is just so amazingly done. The way you finished your edges and the shiny effect of your flowers are gorgeous!

Priscilla, this card is so beautiful whoever gets it will never want to put it away. How long did it take your to cut all these things on here. The kids must take good naps is all I can say. lol All that lovely sewing and detail is overwhelmingly breathtaking. Outstanding masterpiece! See you next Tuesday.

Thanks for all your comments ladies. Carol, you are so funny :) I do a lot of my work AFTER the kids are in bed for the night...then the blades come out and the bright lights..I think I am going slowly blind..LOL It took me one night to cut and create the flowers for this card. I do it in front of the ole' TV :) I think I was watching "So you think you can Dance" I love that show :) Thanks for your comments everyone..I plan on doing a tutorial on these cards when I can get a spare minute :)
