"Peek-a-boo"
Hello everyone, I hope you're all well and thanks for stopping in. I have posted some additional picture of my MMSC10 card for you if you would like to take a closer look. While I was making this card, I kept thinking about a very special customer that I have that absolutely adores Cats. She actually helped me pick out the Midnight Madness Logo..see, she loves cats :) In appreciation, I am going to finish up the inside on this, make her a special envelope and send this off to her. I sure hope she likes it. I wanted to make her a garden style card, but maybe she will like this one better :) Be sure to click on the picture for an up close look.. because, this little guy has wire whiskers. Ok, as always, if you have any questions about my card, just ask away. We have a lot going on this month at the Midnight Madness blog, so be sure to check it out. Lots of fun give aways : ) Let me know what you think of my kitty?? I myself am a Dog person. What are you? Cat or Dog person? That is the question???
Hi Priscilla, I'm a dog person, but this Kitty is so cute, I love the way you have separated the image into the three sections, the glitter effect just makes it purrfect.

Thank you for your comments gals :) Oh my goodness Valerie..you are to cute..I would love to do a whole tutorial for you on this card. I just love sharing anything I can with others. If you have a specific question, I may be able to help you better. But in a nutshell, I used a clip art image, did a lot of layering, aged all the edges using my scissors blade, machine sewed around the bottom layers, cut out pieces for additional layering, (click the close up and you can see the layers) clear glazed the image, I used a needle and made 6 holds in the kitty’s cheeks, cut 3 piece of wire and thread them through from side to side, crimped the wire to look like whiskers, hot glued the back so they would stay in place, added some paw brads (colored with black copics around the paw edges) used some added 3D dimension and just assembled it all. If you have a more detailed question, I would be happy to help you in that area. I hope this helps you or anyone else who would like to have a go at this :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of you to do that for her, Priscilla. She is going to love it, I am sure. It is an adorable card!! I absolutely LOVE the little kitties too. Mine would have to be a pink card though ;)
ReplyDeleteCan we see the inside and the envelope when you are done? Please!
Hugs,
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteThe three little kittens they lost their mittens and they began to cry...meow meow meow meow and they began to cry. Oh Mother dear see here, see here, our mittens we have lost. What, lost your mittens you naughty kittens, then you shall have not pie...then you shall have no pie.
ReplyDeleteWow Priscilla this card is amazing and I am thinking this kitten appears to be looking for his mittens because he wants some pie. You have treated us to another amazing creation of something beyond are imaginations. Truly phenomenal!!!!
By the way, I can come and read to your kids...lol This was one of my favorite when the boys were small.
