Mid Week Midnight Madness "Linda's Altered Stamped Frame" Tutorial

I am so excited to share this week’s tutorial with you. It is by our very own talented Lovely Linda. She is going to show us how to make this beautiful stamped custom altered frame. So lets get right to it.

Hello everyone, it is time for this week's Midnight Madness Tutorial.  I am going to show you how to make an altered frame, I have recently discovered  how easy it is and once you see it for yourself, I am sure you are going to want to try it....Before you rush off to buy one, have a look around your home for frames you can paint, my frame is recycled and one of two that I have done!  I have seen so many in the shops and thought to myself 'I can do that'...and now I have and SO CAN YOU!

We are doing it a little bit different today.
So,  to see our Lovely Linda in action and to see this tutorial in it’s entirety,

Thank you Linda, your tutorial is awesome :)

Our March Diva is...Sue Drees
We are just thrilled to have Sue joining us for the whole month of March :)Here is a little bit about Sue..I have always been a crafter. Before discovering rubber stamps, I took decorative painting classes and painted everything in the house that had a blank surface. I taught myself to sew and made many of my daughters clothes and doll clothes when she was young, and then repeated that stage when I had a granddaughter.I have been rubber stamping for about 15 years (hard to believe!) and have such a wonderful collection. I still get a thrill every time I ink a stamp up and the image appears on paper ! And, I love to color, always did as a kid (and as a Grandma). I became very interested in scene stamping and have taken three levels of classes from Kevin Nakagawa (Owner of Stampscapes). I went on to teach classes at my local stamp store. I now do a weekly online challenge on their blog which has been very successful. I set up my blog in August of 2008 and it has been the single most rewarding thing I have ever done. I have met so many people from all over the world. The best thing about the internet is you get to visit all these wonderful blogs and see what everyone else is doing and interact with everyone!!I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, Rick, when we were 19 and 20 (I was the older woman by 56 days) who is my biggest supporter. We have one daughter Heidi, our son-in-law Brian, a granddaughter, Megan and a grandson, Michael. I am a retired accountant (but working two days a week for tax season).
We have such wonderful Divas each month and always look forward to working with the next one. I would like to take this time to thank Cheryl for a wonderful Feb month of fabulous cards.Would you like to be our next diva?
Just let us know :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day already? LOL
I’m sending you all a little luck of the Irish this week. Can you believe that next week is March already? Where does the time go? Ok, on to my card, today I am happy to share with you my card for Midnight Madness Sketch challenge #42. I have used both our sponsors’ images this week on it. The Crossword 6x6 inch stamp is called “Scrapblocks” and is a brand new release over at Cornish Heritage Farms. I used it on my card and on my "priscillastyles"envelope. For the St Patrick’s Day theme, I use a Shamrock digi from Delicious Doodles. Teresa, has some wonderful new images over at her sight, so be sure to check them out. She is super sweet and a very talented artist.
Just one more quick note. I made a special place for my "priscillastyles" kits as well as some upcoming items. This is all new territory for me, and I would LOVE for you to stop by and follow my new blog/store..I need all the support I can get :) It can be found HERE.  As always, your thoughts and comments are always appreciated!
They help me, motivate me and keep me inspired.

*Sew Many Cards
Here is a little bit about our awesome sponsor this week....
My name is Angela and I own Sew Many Cards. I have a husband, an almost 10year old daughter, a two year old son, & a dog/puppy: Hershey. The images of Sew Many Cards came from a dream that my husband had of a group of animals that were "SEWN Together" with patches & stitching, hence the name, which he also came up with. You will find that every image in the Sew Many Cards collection has patches and stitching, even the ones that are not animals. I love to draw & almost every image is either an inspiration from my family or a request from my great customers & design team. Please ask if you need something specific or would like to request something to be made.

Hello everyone :)  So glad you stopped in for a closer look-see. Today my MMSC41 card was made with a really great stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. It is from a set called "Man's Best Friend" and is just newly released. I really like making dog cards, so when I looked at the sketch this week I knew I had to some how make little tennis balls for the button part on this layout. These tennis balls are altered SU half pearls. I hope I accomplished making them look like "Tennis Balls" :) I wanted to show the card through the envelope this week, so I altered my "priscillastyles" envelope kit and added a window. It reminds me of that song....."How much is that doggie in the window, woof woof, the one with the waggley tail?" Who knows that song? I remember it from when I was a little girl....Anyway, I hope you give this sketch a go and play along with us this week.  As alway, I would love to hear your thoughts and comments :)
Entered in the following Challenges...
Saturday Spotlight- household item. (I used cotton ball fibers to add texture to my tennis balls)
Polka Doodles - flowers
Pile it on - flowers
OCCC - something old (old paper and my old SU half pearls)
Paper Sundaes - Glitter (I used glitter on my tennis balls)
